The completion of Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi – Rome, Italy training in the field of Soft Skills

The REACH project team specialized in the field of soft skills traveled to Italy to receive the training program at Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi – Rome, as part of Work Package3 of the project funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus + program Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education CBHE. REACH project aims to develop the capabilities of Palestinian higher education institutions to enhance the possibility of cross-border employment of Palestinian graduates. The team that received training in Rome included a group of manager, academics and administrators specialized in the field of soft skills from partner Palestinian universities.

Marconi University provided a training program in topics identified based on the Work Package 1 “training needs assessment”. The team will transfer the experiences gained from Marconi University to the graduates from Palestinian universities in the graduate training program. The training program was distributed over five days, starting on Monday, May 23, and ending on Friday, May 27, 2022. The program is scheduled to contain various topics such as the importance of Soft Skills in the BEEHIVE project experience, Innovation Management, Career services and Intercultural Skills.

The training program also included tours to the university laboratories like Energy Lab and Marconi recording studios.

At the end of the training program, Dr. Sadiq Abdelall, REACH project’s manager, thanked all the trainers from Marconi University and the university administration for their cooperation and providing the desired benefit from the visit. It was also agreed to increase cooperation in future projects.
