REACH Partners Advance Final Reporting and Conference Preparations

The REACH project partners convened online on 3 July 2023 to discuss the project’s final reporting requirements, financial management, and preparations for the upcoming REACH Conference. During the meeting, Dr. Sadiq Abdellal emphasized the importance of initiating the narrative reports for all work packages, requesting work package leaders to document key achievements, activities, and performance indicators as the project approaches its final phase. Partners also reviewed the status of financial reports, highlighting the need to finalize outstanding submissions and proposed budget reallocations to support staff efforts during the project extension period. A major focus of the meeting was the organization of the REACH Conference, scheduled for late September or early October 2023. In response to mobility and travel challenges, partners agreed on a decentralized conference model, enabling each participating university to host local activities while remaining connected through joint online sessions. The consortium also discussed reallocating available conference funds to support these activities across partner institutions. To strengthen collaboration and visibility, the meeting endorsed the organization of centralized online opening and closing ceremonies coordinated by the Islamic University of Gaza. The discussions reflected the consortium’s continued commitment to ensuring the successful completion of project activities and maximizing the impact of REACH outcomes across all partner universities.
