The University of Ljubljana Engineering Skills training has just started! Palestinian Professors will attend a 4-days' training on Product design, CAD/CAM/CNC, Automation and Robotics that has just statrted and will continue to 10 March 2022. The first training day sessions were started by Assist. dr. Borut Černe who provided a lesson on Agile Engineering Design, followed by Dr Daria Vlah who talked about Virtual Collaborative Design. The last session was dedicated to Industrial Design and Development and it was held by Assist. dr. Vanja Čok.
University of Ljubljana Engineering Skills training day #2 The second day of engineering training was dedicated to CAD/CAM/CNC: Assist. dr. Damir Grguraš gave a lesson on CAM systems, Prof. dr. Franci Pušavec introduced Advanced machining processes and Assoc. prof. dr. Davorin Kramar ran his session on Quality assurance in production.
University of Ljubljana Engineering Skills training day #3 The third day of training sessions were dedicated to Automation: first, Assist. prof. dr. Drago Bračun gave a speech on Imaging systems, reverse engineering and he was followed by Assist. dr. Luka Selak who introduced PLC programming for automation. Last session focussed on IoT technologies and it was presented by Assist. dr. Marko Corn.
The last day sessions were dedicated to Robotics: Assist. prof. dr. Rok Vrabič introduced Robotics systems and had an involving exchange with the Palestinian Professors on how teaching Robotics in Palestine, then Assist. dr. Luka Selak talked about Robot programming and Assist. Andreja Malus closed the training day giving an interesting speech on Robot operating system.
