The first day of ICT training

 

The ICT training held by Middlesex University London is a five days training each day is divided to two 3-hours sessions. The training is started at Monday 24 January 2022. The first session is about “Software Defined Networking” by Dr. Clifford Sule and the second is about “Network Security and Cyber Security” by Dr. Usama Arusi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The second day of ICT training

 

The second day of ICT training held by Middlesex University London Tuesday 25 January 2022. This morning the REACH Consortium met online for the Coordination meeting. Among other points, partners planned the rest of the EU trainings (Italy, Spain and Slovenia) and travels. The calendar will be ready soon!

ICT Middlesex University training day #2 has been successfully completed! Prof. George Dafoulas gave a dynamic and engaging speech on Management Information Systems, going through several case studies and showing some laboratories where the teaching methods, approaches and technologies are actually put in practice at Middlesex University (MDX). Afterwards Alan Stuart, Rabia Arif and Claire Yates Wedge presented MDX Works and Employability Services.

 

The third day of ICT training

 

Prof. Kai Xu ran an interactive and dynamic session on Web Application Development.

 

 

 

 

 

The fourth day of ICT training

 

Prof. Giovanni Quattrone ran a practical session on How to build a story around data. He went through an introduction to Data Science, Deep Learning and Neural Networks, Supervised vs. Unsupervised Learning, Data Visualisation. In the afternoon Prof. David Windridge introduced Machine Learning to the trainees.

 

 

 

 

The fifth (last) day of ICT training

 

Middlesex University ICT training has been successfully completed! In the last day of the training week Prof. Ariadni Tsiakara gave a lesson on Data Analytics and Visualisation and Prof. Mahdi Aiash ran a session dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Cyber Security.
